Another London(另一个伦敦)，几周前在伦敦的Tate Britain开展，使我想起在校园的日子。我12岁开始学习英语并看些英文书籍。例如 the bobbies, the bowler hats(圆礼帽), Big Ben(大本钟) 和 the changing of the guard(换岗仪式), the red buses(红色巴士), the red phone boxes(红色电话亭), the smog(烟雾)，都是些给外国人看的大不列颠的成词滥调。我第一次去到伦敦，寻找那些书本中所写的英国。我没有看到一顶礼帽，但去了皮卡迪利广场“看朋克”！

“另一个伦敦”是在1930至1980年间的国外摄影师在伦敦拍摄的照片集合。无论他们中的大多数人和我看了同样的书还是被雇用拍摄这些图片。

但该展览并非名信片的派对。不是关于公园或纪念碑而是关于伦敦人。展览所展出的照片用黑白描绘了这个城市的社会历史。我猜我永不会停止被嬉皮士前的肖迪奇以及伦敦人的大胆着装惊艳到(即使我不能想象现如今穿着背后写有“伦敦毁灭”的皮夹克游荡在镇上的人)。
